SALES PROCEDURES

As a rabbit fancier and enthusiast, I do not breed rabbits specifically to fill orders or to have a surplus amount available for sale.  If I do have a Holland available, it is generally sold on a first come first serve basis provided the potential buyer offers the best new home possible. As such, I will no longer maintain a waiting list, but instead will list sale rabbits on my website or you may email me to inquire about current availability.  If nothing is available and you are still interested in an Ivy Crescent Holland, I encourage you to email me periodically to check on availability. The buyer assumes limited liability of risk on a rabbit purchased.  Ivy Crescent Hollands will only offer a replacement animal in limited circumstances.  Such circumstances include and are limited to discovery of an undiscovered DQ at the time of sale for a period of two months after the sale and health issues for a period of 14 days after the sale.  Certain exceptions may be allowed on a case by case basis.  You will be contacted when a suitable replacement animal becomes available.  As Hollands are a very challenging breed ripe with reproductive and type issues, this can sometimes take awhile and your patience is appreciated. You will have 14 days from the day of purchase to report health related problems and provide proof from a veterinarian to be eligible to receive a replacement animal.  It should be noted that as the health and well being of the Ivy Crescent Holland herd is of utmost importance, instances of health problems have never occured within 14 days of leaving Ivy Crescent.  Ivy Crescent will NEVER sell a rabbit known to be sick or known to have DQ's or structural problems.

SHIPPING

Shipping is available on a case by case basis and weather permitting.  At any time, Ivy Crescent may place an embargo on shipping in the winter and summer months.  Additionally, Ivy Crescent may not ship if there is not a direct flight or reasonable flight route (usually no more than one airport transfer).  If shipping is available and you elect to ship rabbits, a minimum of $300 purchase is required.  The buyer is responsible for purchase of a carrier (either from me or you may UPS one of your own), shipping charge paid directly to the airline carrier, veterinary certificate (usually $28) and a $20 handling fee for airport transportation. All fees are required to be paid by Money Order or Cashiers Check.

DEPOSITS

Ivy Crescent will accept a non-refundable deposit of 50% on rabbits provided such deposit is express mailed and received within five business days of the agreement to hold a rabbit.

NOTE:  Ivy Crescent reserves the right to terminate the sale process or pull out of a transaction for any reason.  75% of the fees paid up to termination of the sale are eligible for refund.
